Which learning pathway do you recommend: On-demand courses, tuition, or both?
You have the flexibility to purchase our on-demand 11+ course either individually or in combination with our tuition options, whether you prefer online or face-to-face sessions.
Our comprehensive on-demand course spans 30 weeks and is packed with valuable learning resources, including engaging video lessons, downloadable worksheets for practice, interactive quizzes to test understanding, and fun games to reinforce key concepts.
The on-demand course can be a fantastic standalone resource for independent learning or a powerful add-on to our tuition, providing extra support and reinforcement tailored to your child’s needs.
Furthermore, even if you choose our in-person face-to-face sessions, your child will benefit from our integrated online portal. This portal includes weekly learning materials to supplement classroom learning, regular quizzes to track progress, and a wealth of additional resources to enhance their understanding. We believe in providing a well-rounded and supportive learning experience, however you choose to engage with us.
How long are the sessions?
Our Year 5 11+ in-centre sessions are 3 hours long and typically held on Saturdays. Online sessions are 60 minutes each and usually run twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Our on-demand courses are self-paced, so you can dedicate as much or as little time as you wish.

How are you group sessions structured?
Our Year 5 11+ 3-hour weekly group sessions comprehensively cover English, Maths, Verbal, and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Each session involves teaching key strategies and skills using our “Lesson Up” platform, followed by practice with various question types. Students also receive homework matched to each section.
What materials do you provide?
For our in-centre sessions, your child will receive a weekly classwork booklet and a homework booklet for consistent practice. Additionally, we provide 12 high-quality question books, ideal for use during school holidays.
Throughout the year, your child will also receive high-quality subject-specific books that link directly to our weekly packs, requiring completion of sections over time. To ensure ample extra practice, various online platforms are utilized.
Should your child require further support or challenge, our on-demand courses are available for purchase. These include pre-recorded video lessons, quizzes, downloadable resources, and comprehensive notes.
Do you charge extra for materials?
No. For all our tuition services, we require a £100 upfront payment which covers the cost of all materials for the entire year, after which you simply pay your monthly tuition fee.
Your child will receive:
- A backpack, zipped wallet, pencil case, and stationery.
- Weekly classwork and homework booklets (printed and provided).
- 12 practice books for additional exercises.
- High-quality study books from well-known publishers like CGP, Scholastic, and Bond, provided at the start of the course and after each term (Autumn, Spring, and Summer).
We even include 3 FREE mock exams, scheduled during the Spring and Summer terms, to help track progress.
Where does your curriculum come from?
Our curriculum is created by GL examiners and experienced exam writers. After they develop the questions, tips, and strategies, everything is thoroughly reviewed by other experienced examiners. Then, our team of teachers carefully check these materials and add helpful guidance to ensure your child learns them easily and effectively. This careful process guarantees high quality and relevance for the exams. We then link our materials to well-known published materials to ensure your child receives a comprehensive course.
